Support Groups

ANAD Recovery and Family Support Groups

  • 75-minute Sessions

  • 20 participants max (must register ahead of the meeting)

  • Led by trained volunteers with experience in recovery

There are General and Focused support groups for help within different identifiers.

National Alliance for Eating Disorders

  • Offers Virtual Sessions and In-Person Sessions in Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Texas

  • Virtual Sessions include Friends and Family, Pro-Recovery, and LGBTQ+ Pro-Recovery

  • Some sessions are 18+

  • Must register ahead for virtual sessions

Project Heal provides life-saving support to people with eating disorders that the healthcare system did not support.

National Alliance For Eating Disorders

The National Alliance for Eating Disorders is the leading non-profit foundation that supports, provides referrals, and educates those with eating disorders and their loved ones. They offer low-cost, life-saving treatment and free, weekly, therapist-led support groups. The National Alliance for Eating Disorders raises awareness for eating disorders and eliminates the stigma surrounding eating disorders as well.

Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, better known as ANAD, is the leading non-profit in the United States that provides free, peer support services to those struggling with eating disorders. They answer general questions about eating disorders, refer people to treatments, and support those with eating disorders. ANAD is a peer-led service that can help educate, inform, and help those with eating disorders.
